Grave's Disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes the Thyroid Gland to be hyper stimulated, often causing the person to become Hyperthyroid.
Grave's is NOT the only cause for hyPERthyroidism and it's important NOT to assume the it is.
Properly treated there is a decent chance that it can go into a form of remission. But I have to emphasize that it has to be PROPER treatment.
I want to expand a LOT more on this subject, as time permits.. and I know that's getting to be a lame excuse, but it's the only one that I have right now.
